Currently Howard Burns is featured on a compilation CD entitled "The TISH project" benefiting several charitable organizations, produced by a Chicago Artist/Producer Roz Ellington who took a strong interest in Howard Burns' style of playing and featured him on this CD. The tune is entitled " Forbidden Love" and Mr. Burns puts a sensuous
yet velvet touch on this piece.

About Howard Burns.......

What can you say about Howard Burns, huh
There aren't enough words in the English
language to describe the extra musician
exceeds the amount of space it would
take to list his credits. Just to give you
a little taste of his history.

Howard received his music education
degree from Howard University and
graduate degree from the Royal
Conservatory of Music in Belgium.
Mr. Burns has been to Music Instructor
and Director for the Fredrick Community
College Jazz Ensemble since 1990.
Howard has participated in numerous
Jazz Festivals and Music Clinics

throughout Maryland, Washington DC,
Virginia and West Virginia.

Howard has performed with Wea
ther
Report, Tom Browne, Earth, Wind and
Fire, Wilson Pickett, Jimmy Hearth, Ernie
Andrews, Wilson Pickett, The
Temptations, The Four Tops and the
Blackbryds. Howard founded to The
Howard Burns Quartet in 1991,
which released its first CD, "Emblem",
in 1993. Currently, Howard has just
released a new Phenomenal CD project
entitled, " Lucinda's Serenade", currently
